Photos of the Snow Leopard are rare as it is an elusive creature. Rarer still is Snow Leopard photo jewelry. These earrings feature a snow leopard picture on a mountain jade gemstone cabochons. One image is flipped to create a right and left.

The cabochon stone is 13mm x 20mm. Photo will be aprx. 1/2" around. Two colors: antique gold (shown) and antique silver (pass mouse over image). Measures aprx. 1" X 1 1/8" (excluding hook). All metals are plated brass.

Available in four styles: fishhook (shown left on image) for pierced, pierced post or clip-on buttons (shown right on image), leverback for pierced, leverback for clip. Fishhooks, pierced posts & nuts are from surgical steel with easy grip rubber discs on nuts.

Snow Leopard Facts

• The snow leopard is a medium-sized cat measuring 3–4 feet. Adult females weigh 77–88 pounds and males weigh 100–165 pounds.

• Snow leopards have large paws for walking on snow, a dense, wooly under-fur, and a long tail heavy with fur from 75-90% of the body length, which can be wrapped around the face and body to help keep them warm in the mountains.

• The snow leopard has long, whitish or smoky-gray fur and the body is covered with brown blotches ringed with black, and a black streak runs down the back.

• Snow leopards do not roar. They are solitary creatures, only pairing during the breeding season.
