Designer's Tip: Any references made to dog tags that mentions 'gold' mean brass and any mention of 'silver' means stainless steel. Chains are nickel, brass or copper. The shine on brass or copper can start to tarnish over time. Buffing with a soft cloth will restore it. I sometimes rub the tag back on the knee of my jeans and that seems to do the trick. If you are worried about tarnish then get the stainless.

02 Red Wolf Dog Tag Necklace

Your choice of two Red Wolf pictures are featured on this dog tag. Pictures are enhanced with borders decorated with Native American feather art work at top and bottom.

Photo surface is treated with cold hard enamel (resin) for the look of a glass framed poster (without the glass). They are waterproof and durable.

This dog tag is military issue size measuring 2" X 1 ". It is shown in brass (gold look), stainless steel (silver look) or copper. For stainless and brass choose between a 24" length or 30" length bead chain with snap fastener (copper is 24" only).

Facts about the Red Wolves

• Red wolves were officially declared extinct in the wild in 1980. By 1987, enough animals had been bred in captivity to begin a reintroduction program. Thanks to these programs, there are currently 50 to 80 red wolves in the wild.
• When red wolves bond and mate it is for life. Sadly in the wild they only average a life of four years. In captivity they live up to 14 years.
