Red Wolf photo gemstone earrings - animal photo jewelry

A beautiful red wolf picture is flipped to make a right and left earring. The wolf photo is atop a white mountain jade cabochon and becomes a part of the stone with our special glazing process.

The button cabochons are in four prong, filigree frames of rich antiqued, gold plated, stamped brass. Stone is 13mm x 20mm. Photo will be aprx. 1/2" around. Measures aprx. 1"X 1 1/4"(excluding fishhook). Available in three styles: fishhook (shown left), pierced leverback or clip-on (shown right).

Facts about the Red Wolf

• The red wolf has faced extinction. The Endangered Species Act requires recovery plans for endangered species. The recovery population goal in the Red Wolf Recovery Plan is 550.
• Red wolves have tall pointed ears and long, slender legs with large feet. Red wolves stand about 26 inches at their shoulder and are about 4 feet long from the tip of the nose to the tip of the tail.
• Red wolves live in the wild in northeastern North Carolina, in the Alligator National Wildlife Refuge region.
