A photo of the Blue & Gold Macaw is flipped to make right and left earrings. A mother-of-pearl opal glaze beneath the pictures seems to glow up through the transparent images on domed cabochon buttons, making the parrots appear luminous. When tilted in the light, the ivory background has a discreet opal affect and the birds' feathers appear metallic.

Button frame measures 3/4" wide X 1" high. Stone is 13mm x 20mm. Photo will be aprx. 1/2" around. A 8mm yellow, Czech, faceted crystal dangles below.
