The African lion and lioness picture cameostones on this custom photo jewelry are treated with a mother-of-pearl / opal glaze that shines up through the translucent image. An almost holographic or metallic affect is created in the light. You may choose both photos as shown in the sample image or one photo for both earrings. The button cabochons are in rich antiqued silver rope frames. Stone is 13mm x 20mm. Photos will be aprx. 1/2" around. Choose clip-on, pierced post or pierced fishhook. Order as a set with two photos or one photo only that is flipped to make a right and left. Fishhooks, pierced posts & nuts are from surgical steel with easy grip rubber discs on nuts. Females weigh between 264 - 400 pounds. • A male lion's roar can be heard up to 5 miles away. • Both male and female lions are naturally camouflaged among the light-colored savanna grasses with their tan color. Males have a mane that ranges in color from light to dark brown, to even black. The mane helps protect the male’s neck during fighting and make him appear larger to competitors. |
