There are many passages in the Gospels that lead us to believe that Jesus DID have a sense of humor, but rarely do we see pictures of him laughing. A charcoal sketch of a laughing Jesus has been miniaturized for this piece. The beauty of His face glows through the pearlized glaze with an opal sheen.

This cabochon is encircled with nickel and black ball chain atop silver plated filigree. Dangling below are Czech crystals in smoke, jet and clear. The smoke crystals are mounted on spears with a Howlite gemstone cross as one of three crosses in the center. Accents are of silver plated metal. This brooch has many symbols of the crucifixion and reminds us of the gift of the Son.
