	This is one of the most beautiful Saint Christopher metals you will ever see. In vibrant colors, digitized on a cabochon. It is available in gold and silver. The cameostone on the gold version has a mother-of-pearl glaze and the silver version has an ivory glaze. These pearlized glazes have the effect of glowing up through the picture from the cabochon beneath. This patron saint jewelry necklace comes in two colors and two sizes, a large (usually preferred by women) and a medium size more common to mans jewelry. Pick gold plated metal or silver plated metal. Pendant setting is framed has a four prong, twisted rope design. Medium cabochon is 30 mm X 22 mm and pendant measures 1 1/8" wide by 1 1/2" high. Large cabochon is 40 mm X 30 mm and pendant measures 1 1/2" wide by 1 3/4" high. Included are bail and chain. The Story of Saint Christopher
The name St. Christopher means 'bearer of Christ'. One of his legends tells that he was a giant Canaanite and wanted to serve the greatest king. Thus he began to serve Satan, until he found out that the sight of the crucifix made his lord take flight. He then dedicated himself to serving Christ by helping travelers to cross a dangerous river. Once a child asked for assistance. While crossing Christopher felt that the child was getting heavier and heavier. It took all his strength and skill to reach the other bank and save the child, who then revealed himself to be Christ. Later Christopher preached the Gospel in Lycia, until he was imprisoned by Decius. He suffered martyrdom when beheaded for his beliefs. He is now the saint patron of travelers.
