04 Tiger Stick Pin

Gold or white tiger photo on a custom lapel stick pin. Stones are treated with a ivory opal glaze that glows up through the semi-transparent photos, creating an almost holographic effect. Colors seem to turn metallic and the ivory background appears much like opal when tilted in refracted light.

Framed stone measures 3/4" wide X 1" high. Photo will be aprx. 1/2" around. Stick lapel pin is approximately 3 inches long with clutch. Choose a white tiger on silver or a gold tiger on gold. All metals are gold or silver plated. Matching earrings, pendants and brooches available.

The Siberian tiger has developed a remarkably thick fur and a thick layer of fat along the belly and flanks to survive a habitat that is cold and covered in snow during the long winters where the temperatures can drop below -45° C.

Siberian tigers live alone and only get together to reproduce and the female will raise the cubs. During the mating period, a male and a female Siberian tiger can hunt together but this is quite rare. They usually prefer to stay solitary hunters even during this time.
