•White tigers are are not albinos or a separate species of tigers. They are white colored bengals with blue eyes, a pink nose, and creamy white fur covered with chocolate colored stripes. White tigers are born to tigers that carry the unusual gene needed for white coloring. Wild white tigers are very rare and found mostly in zoos.
• The White Tiger is a good swimmer, but a very poor climber and slow runner but makes up for it with it's stealth. They are solitary animals and in the wild hunt mostly at night.
• Most white tigers are a product of inbreeding at zoos. The little known fact behind this is that the inbreeding causes a high mortality rate for the cubs and many physical defects. The imperfect tigers are not put on display for the public and are either given to shelters of disposed of.
