The cameostone beneath the box turtle picture is coated with a mother-of-pearl opal glaze to create a background that glows up through the semi-transparent photograph. Colors seem to turn metallic with an almost holographic effect when this photo jewelry is tilted in the light.

The round 38 mm photo stone is encircled with rows of copper and brass bead chain with an antiqued copper filigree at bottom. Dangling are colorful crystal and gem stone beads. Czech crystals of yellow, AB amber, AB gold and clear amber are blended with glass pearls and garnet gemstones. A 1 1/4 “ long, silver-plated pin back makes attachment easy.
